Leading Teams Australia exists to align teams and develop leaders. Our team of expert facilitators specialise in cultural change and leadership development. We align teams by generating ownership of shared behaviours that empower all members of the team to engage in open, honest, and constructive dialogue to improve team performance.
Through our notorious Performance Improvement Program, leadership skills courses and change management strategies, we assist many organisations in a broad range of industries including Elite Sport; Corporate; Community/Not for Profit; and Education.
Leading Teams believes that any team’s culture can be changed to improve performance and productivity. Engagement in this process is a key element to successful cultural change. We develop leaders who behave in a manner that has a positive impact on their peers and the performance of the organisation.
Through our work with many AFL and other elite sporting clubs over the years, we have implemented successful leadership development programs and organisational cultural change. Our biggest success story to date is playing part in the Sydney Swan's Premiership win in 2005 and 2012. Most of our work is now in the corporate market.
The Leading Teams process for enhancing leadership skills and improving organisational culture involves:
The facilitator guides the participants to enable them to build a framework of desired culture, a Trademark, and encourage all team members to take responsibility and support each other in living these behaviours.
Once a behavioural framework is established, it enables each participant to provide 'real' support with open, honest and constructive feedback to other members of the team. This level of open dialogue presents a genuine opportunity for leadership skill development, strong professional relationships, shared vision and goals, high professional expectations and accountability.
Much of our follow up material is action based learning. Participants will implement strategies in the work place and then report back to the group. Learning will be driven by “real life” experiences. Progress of individual team members is tracked to ensure the leadership training is working effectively.
As well as our leadership and culture change programs, we offer leadership skills courses for individuals. We also provide a Coaching & Mentoring service for individuals that wish to receive additional one-to-one assistance with their leadership development training.
