I have been working at the Newcastle Knights for two seasons and have been working quite closely with Trent as our captain.

His commitment to escorting Hannah to her formal is strong reflection of the person/leader I see at the Knights.

This season he has had to:

  • Lead a young team who have suffered some frustrating losses
  • Endure a tough run with injury
  • Cope with some lapses in his own form.

Given all this he, more than most, had an excuse to think more about himself and less about the team BUT that is not his go.

He is strongly engaged with the team, is training hard and most importantly is working overtime to help our young players improve.

Committed and selfless are just two words which spring to mind when describing Trent.
