Leading Teams is delighted to welcome a new addition to our team: former Paralympian Don Elgin has joined us as a Facilitator, based in Melbourne.
Don will be delivering the Leading Teams Performance Improvement Program to a wide range of sporting and corporate clients across Melbourne, Victoria and Australia.
A triple Paralympic medallist, Don competed at the 1996 Atlanta, 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Paralympic Games before putting his leadership skills to work as an Australian team manager at the 2011 World Athletics Championships and as a section manager for the Australian athletics team at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
He brings years of experience as a leader, speaker and facilitator to his new role.
Leading Teams Partner, Jake Bridges, said, “I’m so happy to have Don join us as a Facilitator. He has just the right mix of skills and life experience to work well with any given team. He will be able to show teams that you can overcome anything to be high performing, using his own story as an example.”
Don added, “I’m stoked to be part of the team. As an athlete I was always driven to be the best that I could and that attitude is shared by everyone at Leading Teams. I can’t wait to start working with leaders and teams to improve their performance.”
Leading Teams now has 14 Facilitators delivering our leadership, culture change and team development programs Australia-wide.
