My background has always involved large groups of people and fast paced environments. Media and communications, and hospitality have been where I have thrived. I have lead large teams up to 120 people in previous roles as General Manager and Licensee. My in-depth understanding of people from work, education and travel experiences, means I can work in a wide range of industries with people from all backgrounds. I am particularly passionate about maximising individuals’ potential which results in a greater contribution to the team. My strength is communication skills, and deep passion for the Leading Teams model which I use as a blueprint for both my professional and personal life.
How would you like to be described by your family, friends, and clients?
Engaging, Fun, Honest, Driven and Patient.
What is your favourite piece of leadership advice, or quote?
“I do” – David Ryan, 07/06/14
My husband chased me around the world, we did 2 years long distance (Ireland to Australia) and he relocated to Australia to give us a go. Nothing will ever compare to the dedication, fulfilment and joy that has brought to my life.
What does success look like with a client?
When they have clarity of purpose, trust in their team and believe in the direction they are heading – unified. It’s an incredible privilege to have played a part in that, and generally drives their results they were chasing.
Tell us about your culture and leadership experience?
Culture for me is behaviour we accept. I have worked and strived in poor cultures and excellent cultures. For me, I feel taking the outcomes from both experiences has helped shape me to become the leader I am, embracing the good and highlighting attributes I don’t want to be. I have lead and changed culture, and inspired teams of over 120 people to achieve record results. The best result for me is the progress you see from your team and they rise through their career, if you invest in their development to help them grow.
