I would like to be described as someone who displays both Strength and Gentleness.
Strength in that …
I have a strong sense of moral purpose.
I use my strong interpersonal skills to positively influence others.
I am determined.
I will question what needs to be questioned in a calm and respectful manner.

Gentle in that …
I am an active listener / questioner with a view to gaining wisdom.
I am a learner.

What is your favourite piece of leadership advice, or quote?

In any organisation it is the people who comprise it that must always matter most. As soon as we place ‘product’ above ‘people’ we have lost sight of really matters.

What does success look like with a client?

My clients see that I am their most valuable business partner. They know that I am willing and able to support them in whatever circumstance that presents and that my client’s business will be better because of the partnership they have with Leading Teams and me.

Tell us about your culture and leadership experience?

As noted earlier, having worked in eight different school settings in the Catholic education sector across Victoria I have had the good fortune to learn from and with many outstanding leaders. This, coupled with many and varied interactions in local sporting clubs and other settings has allowed me to form a deep appreciation of what effective leadership looks like, sounds like and feels like.
Without doubt the two most pivotal leadership roles I have enjoyed were as Principal at St. Alipius Parish School, Ballarat East and as the founding Principal of Emmaus Catholic Primary School, Mt Clear. Starting a school from ground up was truly unique, demanding and deeply rewarding opportunity.
I look forward to forming a diverse client base as I settle into Leading Teams and sharing my rich experience in the leadership of people as I do so.
