Julian Farkas

I have worked in the Sports Management and Coaching space for almost 20 years most recently in Talent programs at the SANFL. Ihave been married for 17 years to Jodine and have 2 children Jesse 10 and Zoe 8. I was introduced to Leading Teams in 2004 and they remain the most powerful, impactful sessions I have ever been involved in.  To now work for the organisation is a dream come true.

How would you like to be described by your family, friends, and clients?

Caring – of others feelings and concerns

Thoughtful – in my interactions

Considerate – in my responses

What is your favourite piece of advice, or quote, and why?
See something, do something.

What does success look like with a client?
An outstanding rapport built between facilitator and team members on the back of a genuine willingness to improve performance.

Providing a trusting and respectful environment that enhances strong professional relationships to allow genuine conversations. These then reward, challenge and drive each team member to be a better version of themselves for the betterment of the team.

Tell me about your culture and leadership experience:

My association with Leading Teams began many years ago whilst I was working at the Eastlake Football Club in 2004. Those sessions were the most impactful sessions I have ever been involved in and there was not a football or an oval in sight. I have utilised the Leading Teams principles in what I do, both personally and professionally ever since in both Management and Coaching roles. I was lucky enough to coach South Australia to the 2018 U16 National Championship and was named All-Australian Coach in the same year.
