Northern Education Alliance

The Northern Education Alliance is a collaboration between five Catholic, Independent, and Government schools in Melbourne’s north, formed with one goal: to build high-performing leadership and school culture that improves outcomes for students.

At the outset, the NEA faced significant challenges and blocks. To work together as a team, they needed to break through trust and leadership style barriers, as well as a focus on their school’s individual success. Once the Leading Teams model was embedded, the leaders found they could push each other respectfully to focus on their common purpose. They were able to have open and honest discussions about how they can grow as leaders and help build the future group of leaders in their schools.
