Travis joins Leading Teams after more than 20 years leading high-performing Sales and Marketing teams across Australia and internationally.
Trav began his career in the advertising industry, partnering with global brands such as adidas, Nintendo, Reebok, Mars (Chocolate & Petcare) and Mattel – both in Australia and the UK. During this time, he helped world-class marketing teams bring strategy, creativity, and commercial outcomes together with impact.
Travis then moved into media, spending five years as Group Sales Manager at Network Ten. There, he worked with major Australian brands including Coles, Bunnings and Mazda, developing large-scale integrated partnerships across iconic programs such as MasterChef, Offspring and The Project.
Most recently, Travis spent eight years in FMCG, most notably with Swisse Wellness, where he played a key role in driving commercial growth across both domestic retail and global export markets.
Across every chapter of his career, Travis has been drawn to environments where culture, leadership and performance matter. His role at Leading Teams brings together his passion for building successful teams with his deep commercial experience – helping organisations create the conditions for people to thrive.
Passionate, Optimistic, Disciplined, Open-Minded and Curious — someone who brings positive energy into every room, and is always fun to share a drink with.
“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” – James Clear
This quote has resonated deeply with me in both work and life. Too often, we set big, ambitious goals – personally or with our teams – and when we fall short, we question what went wrong.
If we’re honest, it’s usually because we never put a system in place to support the goal in the first place. As leaders, if we want to create a genuinely high-performing environment, we need to invest time in building the systems, rhythms and behaviours that make high performance possible and sustainable.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in businesses of all sizes and across multiple industries. Some had incredibly strong cultures; others were far more challenging environments.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: high-performing cultures never happen by accident.
The best teams work relentlessly on how they show up, how they communicate, and how they hold each other to account. They invest time, budget and focus into keeping their team dynamic at its best. And they treat culture not as a “fix it once” initiative, but as an ongoing journey of improvement.
Team dynamics evolve. People change. Circumstances shift.
That means culture needs to be intentionally revisited and strengthened – not just when things go wrong, but especially when things are going well.
It’s often difficult to see clearly from inside the team, which is why having strong partners who can provide perspective, alignment and accountability is so important. That’s what excites me about the work we do at Leading Teams, and why I’m passionate about helping leaders and teams achieve lasting, meaningful performance.
